We are proud to introduce EBike Studio Sunshine Coast, led by Tim Grieger. Tim is a Tewantin resident and has been an ebike owner and fan for a number of years.
Says Tim:

You Are the Traffic
Traffic congestion in Noosa and the Sunshine Coast, where many come to live a more sustainable and healthy lifestyle, is a contentious topic.
Public transport options remain limited and, being a popular holiday destination that many drive to, congestion is growing (along with the frustration).
There is a simple choice that residents and business owners can make to make life better though, particularly for those short trips to and around town.
Take an ebike instead! E-Bikes take the heavy lifting out of cycling. They are fun to ride which encourages you to stick with it and do more. Doing things like going to the farmers market, the supermarket, the school run, the beach or cafes is ideally suited to ebikes.
Tim's Story
After a 45-year hiatus from cycling I felt the urge to hop on a bike again and I purchased an ebike from Electric Bikes Brisbane, the parent co of EBike Studio.
Initially I intended to ride leisurely over the weekends and after work but it quickly became much more than that. It transformed my daily commute into the highlight of my day, taking me where I needed to go with fun and ease.
I have upgraded my ebike since then, opting for a top of the range premium ebike and I have not looked back. I’m out and about on it most days. It has helped my fitness and wellbeing immensely - I’m constantly amazed how far I can ride without being fatigued. I rarely take the shortest route either. For me it’s enjoying the journey and environment along the way rather than speed to get there.
I recently also purchased an ebike for my wife who, like me, had not ridden a bike for many years. We have reclaimed our time together now and enjoy exploring this beautiful part of Australia as well as doing (what used to be) “chores” such as grocery shopping at the Noosa’ Farmers Market on Sunday. I take the versatile Cargo ebike the ‘car alternative’ and by riding we avoid the parking hassles and traffic along the way. It is so much more enjoyable than driving!
I love that we spend more together now. Our ebikes are reliable, stable and sustainably made using quality components, which I love because they spend a lot less time in the workshop and they are lasting. Plus they are a pure pleasure to ride.
